Day 02: Full day tour (B)
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo and then start a guided tour to visit one of the Seven Wonders the great Pyramids of Giza; (Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus). The Cheops Pyramid is more interesting, because its interior burial chambers are open for inspection by the public. Not far from the Pyramids is the Great
Sphinx of Giza, which dates from the time of Chephren, this unforgettable statue combines the head of a Pharaoh with a lion& body. A quick visit to papyrus institute or a perfume shop can be arranged after the visit. Continue the tour to visit pyramids of Memphis & Saqqara area;
Memphis: The oldest capital of Egypt, was built by King Menes, and lays 24 kms southwest of Cairo. This is the most beautiful representation of Ramses II. Sakkara: Is the oldest Ancient Egyptian cemetery. It lies on a desert plateau, southwest of Cairo.

Day 03: Overday Alexandria (B)

Early breakfast at the hotel in Cairo then transfer to Alexandria via the desert road –about 225 km– whereby you will start a guided tour to visit the Roman Amphitheater, Catacomb, Pomp Pillar & outside photostop at Qait Bay Citadel.

The Roman Amphitheater Alexandria neglected during the early Islamic period and onward. In fact, it was until discovered during the middle of the 20th century. It became one of the most marvelous historical sites of the city of Alexandria. The Roman Amphitheater which we see today constructed in the 4th century AC

Catacomb of Kom el Shouqafa it is 30 m. high and built from Aswan pink granite, the Pompeii Column is thought to have been a present from the people of Alexandria to Emperor Diocletian. Most of the remains found around the column can be seen at the Greco-Roman Museum. At the top of the hill lies the entrance to the Kom al- Shuqafa Catacombs dating from the first and second centuries. They have been discovered by chance at the beginning of 20th, century.

Pompey’s Pillar it is approximately 25m red Aswan granite column with a circumference of 9m, was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian., it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesarism

Qaitbay Fort is a 15th century Islamic fortress built to protect the city from invading Crusaders. The Qaitbay Citadel is located on the northeast part of Pharos Island, on the exact spot that was once home to the famous lighthouse of Alexandra. The Citadel was original established by Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Qa’it Bay in 1544 as a fortress.

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is dedicated to recapture the spirit of openness and scholarship of the original Bibliotheca Alexandrina. It is much more than a library it contains the following

Day 04: Full day tour (B)

Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo, then start a guided tour to visit the Citadel & Mohamed Ali Mosque. You will be escorted to a fascinating maze of little streets, filled with numerous old monuments andmosques from Cairo's Islamic past. Saladin's Citadel, the impressive
19th century Mosque of Mohammed Ali, and considered the oldest university in the world. Continue the tour to visit the Egyptian Museum. The museum exhibited collections ranges from pre-historic era to the Greco
Roman period. It has 107 halls, and the ground floor houses huge statues. The museum also comprises of a photography section and large library.
After the visit a short drive will take you to Khan El Khalili bazaars; which is one of the most famous worldwide with its amazing narrow alleyways. The bazaar is the domain of shopkeepers and tourists. Jewelers, items made from copper, parquetry boxes, semi-precious stones, rugs, and other souvenirs.
